Financial Affidavit

Unread postby Dad2015 » Mon Jan 08, 2018 7:38 pm

In Florida on line 23 it asks for health insurance. The wording says health insurance you pay excluding children of this case.

I have asked several lawyers and get conflicting information. I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find the statute or law showing the exact information.

I pay insurance for me and my first son and it was out in the order to do so. so, some lawyers say line 23 should be my amount only and some say no it's the amount you pay unless the child of the case.

Since so many lawyers differ opinion I want the statute. thank you.

Hello,

Are you worried about getting it wrong? Don’t worry. Put the answer you think is correct and serves you best.

it reduces my income by $200 so my child support would change. Woman will fight me if I'm not right.

She can make the effort, no sweat for you.

For every dollar in premiums paid, there is a dollar reduction in CS obligation.

Always fill out the net worth form in such a way that when you are unsure of what to write, put down an answer that skews things in your favor.

Let the other side point out your honest mistake, if they even catch it.

Truth is the court probably won't even look at most of it, and even if they do, and even if something (or many things) are omitted, nobody seems to care.

My ex left out a ton of stuff and even when asked repeatedly by my attorney and ultimately even the judge to produce it, she never did, and you know what happened?

That's right, nothing. No one cares.

Will do. She has filed about 5 financial aff. in this case all different. I submitted one that showed just my health insurance being paid and have to redo one because the judge looked at our pay stubs and recalculated our gross as she said we both did it wrong. So, it will look suspicious if I go from like 160 a month to 360 a month on the insurance line. I can show that I pay it by receipts to other ex and withdraw from my account and its court ordered but that child is on ex 1 insurance plan.
