The judge apparently has told my attorney that he will be holding NJ in contempt for various payments that she failed to make pertaining to child support and medical bills. In addition, NJ will have to pay some sort of attorney fees, the amount which have not yet been determined by the judge.
What is the difference between "technical" contempt and "willful" contempt? This seems to be an issue the lawyers are arguing about.
I live in the state of Rhode Island.
