ShouLd I file ex parts

Postby JAtlDad » Sat Feb 18, 2012 8:31 pm

My wife has an attorney but I have not been served. Should I file ex parts at court open without an attorney with my chosen strategy to try to be the plantiff?

You want to file first.

So I don't know if I can talk to a lawyer before the court next opens. I agree that I would be a fool to not get a lawyer. I would also be a fool to not file first. What is the worse evil?

I would file first. It's not like you're going to be going to court right away for trial. You'll have months if not years to save up for a lawyer.
