Combating Mediation Reports

Unread postby sunnygal » Sat Jan 13, 2018 5:46 pm

State: California

Going by generalities, if you get back a bad mediation report from the court provided mediators that is filled with inaccuracies and the like... what options are there to combat them? Without going into detail, I may or may not have an attorney already and would like to know if the gameplan is the right plan, or if there's more that can be done?

Thanks for any replies

Hello,

Who are you in this mediation?
How many kids and how old?
What’s the differences - usually CA is 50/50 for involved parents?

Hey Bart,

Are you able to do PM's?

In general, combating inaccuracies is done by presenting evedince. If you can prove the reports conclusions are based on inaccurate evidence you have a better chance at getting the judge to rule counter to their recommendations.

Sorry, I don’t do PM’s by design. It comes too close to the illegal practice of law. I do all my business right here in the lobby.

Nothing I asked is a problem for you to repond here, and the best results of this forum come from many responders who will follow behind me. If you fear discovery, then I would ask if you are watching all the divorce forums for the other party to post, yourself?
