Ohio or anyone else familiar....

Can a GAL come up with an effective report and recommendation when brought on with less than 2 months to go for a final hearing? Especially in interstate cases?

dad of 5...

looks like you are getting plenty of good help here.

I wanted to say also that crock-pot idea +10

Costco has a per-prepared pack ready to toss in the crock-pot for about $20 bucks. I made mine Friday night and will have it for the next few days into the work week for lunches. I added my favorite marinade (Allegro) and some of my pre-made spice mix (mix up a bunch of different spices and use on a lot off stuff).

Hang in there!

Then search for "Crock Pot" on the forum.

I actually just followed this instruction

So is that the secret to a good GAL meet at the house, have a crock pot going?

It's about theater.

When I met my ex she couldn't cook. Seriously,
I taught her how to cook. Gal comes over and I've got a pot simmering on the stove and "oh look, dad can cook. How awesome."
It even made it into the GAL report.

It's all BS, but you have to play the game.

I should have purchased a crock pot a long time ago. I figured that its a game. Luckily, cooking, cleaning, etc are things I actually do. Hell I even pulled it off when X and I split while i was still getting my Bachelors, as a full time student and working full time. God bless online classes though.

I'll go out and buy one today. Whats another $300 to $400 when you've already spent 11k in legal fees, right?

Did you use it only for that GAL evaluation and then boxed it back up?
