It's astounding to me how, even in congress, there are people so detached from reality, being led by the nose by conspiracy theorists, religiozealots, white supremacists (the real name for "white nationalists"), and anti-government fundamentalists. Gerrymandering is a foundational problem that must be fixed. I have no faith that 32-35% of this country will ever come out of this delusion. And those < edited > vote.

The ones to whom we all hope the pendulum is swinging don't; at least not consistently.

Most citizens are led to put party before country, once I stopped holding my ankle for my party and the blood ceased building up in my little head, I had clarity of thought and my priorities were very clear.

There will always be those that look backwards but you must admit we're trending in the right direction , right?

Wow, I didn't know they made brushes that broad. I can see why people voted for anybody but Hillary. I can also see why people voted for anybody but Donald. I'm not sure our coountry could have picked more polarizing candidates than those two. It truly feels like we are living in the Idiocracy.
