Friend went to hearing this week...the OC wasn't there this time. OC got suspended...again. But OC will be back for the next one I guess as OC will "only" be on probation by then.
This OC (not a C & C attorney):
* 2013 - got 2 years probation
* 2014 - got suspended (while on probation) and got probation (double-secret probation?)
* 2016 - got suspended and got 2 years probation
* 2017 - got suspended (while on probation) and got 2 years probation (double secret probation?)
On the flip side, my friend says that this OC is quite talented and can flip words and motions in court on the fly really fast as my friend got railroaded pretty good in courtroom (friend says OC lies through his teeth, but OC"s realllly good at it). My friend couldn't even get his story in much at all. Plus the OC stonewalls my friend a ton leading up to any hearings.
Yeah...my friend needs an attorney of his own.
Is there a point to the suspension/probation thing? Not like it seems to mean anything.
How do some of these attorneys stay in business?
