Meanwhile, I've had 2 amicable divorces and filed first all 3 times.

I'm guessing that it's actually higher than 2/3 as in my case and a few others that I know, I filed first, but I sort of had to, and even though she was the one that wanted out, she would have had no incentive to file.
Deciding to go forward with a divorce is kind of like joining a brotherhood. However, it is a brotherhood that you really don't want to join.
