That's actually in the Declaration of Independence, not the Constitution.

And written at a time where all men were most certainly not free, not entitled to their life, and had zero pursuit of happiness.

So what rights are they protesting that we the people are lacking? What rights have been trampled on? I'm confused as to what the specific goal was to march for what?

I understand civil rights for African Americans, marched for equality, the right to vote, desegregation of school and public transportation.
Women protested for the right vote and equality.

What was this women's march for again?

Did you carry a sign that said "Equal parenting time for Dads?"
Or
"Stop the False DV for all."
Or
"Single Dads are Great."

Most of what I heard and saw was a protest against the kind of cultural acceptance of DT's "grab 'em by the < female genitalia >" that makes women feel as second class to men.

I teach my kids that it's not okay to talk like that. Billy Bush got fired for that incident. But DT gets to be our president.

I did not, Phoenix. I have enough trouble walking a straight line when I'm NOT carrying anything! Even when stone cold sober (neuro issues).

I assume many were marching to protest the normalization of sexual assault and DT's role in it.

“I love this new world. I no longer have to be politically correct,” von Keyserling allegedly responded.

I hear there is another march next weekend. It will be interesting to see the media compare and contrast.

The problem is, the talking heads kept asking what the protest was about and there would be a litany of ideas brought up. Healthcare for all, LGBT rights, reproductive rights, free child care, black lives matter, etc.

But there was no talk about the signs that said "hands off my < female genitalia >," "this < female genitalia > bites," or the fact that women wore pink < female genitalia > hats.

Are any of the talking heads talking about that as the reason for this huge turnout, rather than some amorphous set of "rights" that differ depending on who you ask?
