I got "Radio Silence" on her part. Best gift ever from her!

Damn I still miss that crazy pug

I changed my avatar to his pic because I can't seem to cut and paste.

Want to see him but not worth seeing her.

Edit; take that back; her signing QuitClaim deed; even though court ordered I could have had to chase her around legally to do it.

Great topic GT.

Nothing - I want exactly that, am always pleased to get it. My ex-MIL once got me an oil-rubbed-bronze toilet handle, because she knew I was going nuts trying to find one. Best gift ever; got kinda weepy. I'm set for life.

I send him and his wife a box of Godiva chocolates every year. They enjoy it and appreciate it.

There is no animosity between myself and ex. Perhaps others, with less mutual regard, will have more dramatic tales.

Nah, but that is totally fine with me. Others may be able to do that kind of thing but I feel it would be...weird. The first Christmas after we split we tried doing a joint Christmas with the boys....maybe at the time it was just too soon, but it was very awkward.

Nary a thing, and that's always been fine w/me. Never got him anything (once we were exes, of course), but did help the kids choose (and sometimes help pay for) appropriate gifts for their Dad (and his wife and her kids). When they asked.

Just had Christmas with the kids, STBX.

She got me a Yeti cooler. Yep. A Yeti.

Wow.

I helped all my kids get presents for their moms this year. If I tried to do that before with my 1st ex my 2nd one got mad at me. Feels nice to help the kids and not worry about what price I will pay for doing it.

I've never gotten a gift from them. Even while married, they did little things sometimes, but generally they were the kind of women who thought gifts should come their way, not go the opposite direction. My 2nd one literally said that's a man's job in a relationship. Ha!

I got myself a plane ticket for weekend trip in January. I like getting my own gifts anyway.
