So it has been over 3 years divorced for me and I wanted to share an update to my friends on here.

I had a short marriage (2 years) with one D2 (5 now). We settled on 50/50 30 minutes before trial although I pay max CS in NY.

My Ex and I had a tough relationship for the first 2 years, but have settled down nicely since then. We more co-parent now than parallel parent, which is greatly helping our daughter. I never thought we would be doing that, but we are. She has given me extra time when I have had family in town and on various occasions when I have asked. I have done the same for her.

On a personal side, I got married last year to a wonderful woman and we just welcomed our first daughter together 2 weeks ago. My ex picked out some nice clothes with our D5 for us. We both called and thanked her. My wife brought an amazing S5, so I now am a proud parent of 3.

Life couldn't be better for me and I owe most of that to the great help in this community. I urge and encourage all new guys who think there is no life after divorce to take a deep breath and realize that there certainly is! Keep you head up and always maintain your dignity no matter how tough it is.

Stopping by myself to say hello and that I'm glad things are working out for you.

It was a real challenge just a few years ago. Be well.
