Good man, one reason she continues to file motions is because she hasn't been incentivized to stop. If she suffers real consequences of a well planned counter, she might figure out that she's spinning her wheels for nothing.

how do you guys feel about her request for basically another round of discovery?

Is that typically granted?

Don't leave it to the judge to decide. Instead, use this occasion to reverse momentum. You be the one to decide. You be the one to frustrate the process.

You should be in a position to stall this until trial. By that time it won't matter.

Where's your attorney on this?? Did he file an Answer and Counterclaim?? Did you instruct him to vigorously object to any continuances??

We are filing an answer and counterclaim tomorrow.

The motion is scheduled to be heard on Dec 8th, yet our 3rd day of trial is Nov 28th where we will resume with me being cross examined by her pro se.

Sounds like a "Vexatious Litigant"... a friend of mine is going through this in CA... His ex will re-file the following day after the judges decision on something, to "have another look"...

The judge has levied sanctions against her the last I heard...

If by "another round" you refer to a request for any new material received by you since the last round, then yes it will likely be granted. How long since the last round?

Surely you don't mean she has an entirely new fishing expedition?

Its commonly referred to as a 'fishing expedition' around here but you should consider a different perspective.

Cases can drag on for years. Updating discovery before trial is a sign their covering their bases. Preparing for court with accurate updated information.

If you're not, are you sure you shouldn't be doing the same ?

You're good? Got everything you need? You're ready for trial?

What's the request , exactly. Is it more pragmatic to just hand it over or fight against it?

in the original discovery for trial we handed over bank records and credit card statements up until april 2017 (as requested).

We are in trial now, 6 months later..... (Nov 2017) so she wants usernames and passwords to my banking and credit cards as well as updated banking and credit card statements from May to Nov 2017.

Access no
Updated statements for the few months between, yes.

This also looks like a fishing expedition, so unless you got lucky in Vegas, don't let this hold thing up.
