Marriage Settlement Proposal

Unread postby Super Man » Fri Apr 21, 2017 12:21 pm

Looking for opinions. We have a family resolution conference upcoming, so what I have done is a MSP to STBX showing big picture. STBX has exchanged income, and assets. STBX provided a list of what she had prior to marriage, during etc etc.

My question is as far as STBX picking up items from house agreed upon. Should I give her 30 days to pick up, with police escort, or should I wait on this? I have a restraining order, and of course, it will only be done with Police escort, and the camera rolling.

Require advance notice to setup appt for her to pick up her stuff.
Get Court Officer as witness (they run like $50/hr) ask lawyer for referral.
Have her come with court office present and notify police, police will most likely sit outside and wait till she is gone.
Make sure you ask court office to write up a summary after visit.

I asked my ex not to address me or talk to me when she came over to pick her junk up.

Listen to GT on this bro. Involve the local LEO sand look at your TPO or RO to see if she has a "one time" LEO escort to your home to gather personal items only.

I think most of them RO/TPO have a provision that includes being able to have a LEO escort/standby as the person gets not contested personal property including clothes personal items etc.

DO NOT ALLOW her to come over without a LEO and get some counsel to assist you if you don't already have counsel. And have that digital audio recorder ready to go if she ever does show up unannounced. Don't hesitate to dial 911 if she does violate the RO/TPO.
"No." is a complete sentence.
Do not move out of your house.
What are you grateful for?

You just want to dance with the mother. You are looking for excuses, and this is your latest one.

She is a drunk. You are not dealing with that fact well. You are expecting logic and reason from someone who is incapable of such.

Do nothing about this.
