approximately how long a no-fault divorce takes?

Does anyone know approximately how long a no-fault divorce takes? Unfortunately, we couldn't make mediation work. We live in NJ. Issues are not that complex. Oldest 2 children married off. Youngest is about to start college. Thanks

There's no way to say. It depends on how complicated the issues are and how high conflict the parties involved are.
If you can't be a good example, you'll just have to serve as a horrible warning.

Legally, in Michigan, if there is no minor children 60 days, if there is minor children 6 months. If there is any disagreements it can take a couple years if neither side wants to budge whether there is minor children or not. Mine took roughly 10 months.

Months. Years.

Uncontested? Thats different.

Itll take as long as the statutory minimum for your state plus the time it takes to schedule the hearing after the wait time is met, typically a few weeks .
