fb as evidence??

Unread postby big_hdad » Mon Oct 07, 2013 1:06 am

Have had issues with violence with kids and other things, which I've posted about. Njs fb is public so i can see everything. My question is she has a post about how she keeps getting in abusive and hurtful relationships. There are other inappropriate things on her fb and our children are on her fb and see this as well. Now can/should i use these things in court? Her admitting the hurtful relationships and the sexual things that my children are exsposed away to help prove abuse?

The phrase you will want to investigate is authenticating social media evidence.

Though many people seem to just admit to it you ned to be prepared for the other side to say its not theirs or you faked it.

You cannot assume that just because the kids are her FB friends that they can see "everything."

What is your purpose?

To stop the mother from posting on FB?
To stop the children from reading the mother's account?

You know this includes you too?

So do you think her writing that you are abusive on facebook proves you are?

If you're in litigation, her entire Facebook account is discoverable. I was required to download my entire account in a ZIP file and send it to them, and they were required to do the same for her account.

It was a veritable gold mine. For me ... ;)

Look at the dates on these threads man.
