So we are going to pretend like outage never happened?

No explanation, no apology, nothing?

We are just going to pretend like this forum never went down for over 6 weeks without notice?

I heard there are mods. So this thread will probably get shut down. But whatever.

Ahh, the conspiracy mindset.

I'm just speculating but while our members purpose is to help as many fathers as possible the forums purpose is to generate web traffic for our host. Traffic is down. If traffic were high and the forums were seen as a revenue generating operation I assume its continued operation would be a higher priority.

Please consider this in the future when responding to post. The forums are open to all and others should not be discouraged from posting.

No conspiracy. I just think the forum owners owe us an explanation. That's just the decent thing to do. Even if it was a simple crash that no one cared about for several weeks.

Whether or not there are ways to prevent an outage like this is a secondary issue.

It's a free service. No one owes you anything.
If you can't be a good example, you'll just have to serve as a horrible warning.

You feel entitled to an apology and explanation?

Interesting.

This is a community with real people and real lives are at stake. I think an explanation of the problem is a decent thing to do. Apology is a little far fetched. But putting preventive measures in place is a possibility. No one is asking the owners for resources. The community maybe able to take care of the solution. But we wouldn't know that if we continue to pretend this never happened.

Not only that but we have people mocking me for asking the reason. Mind blown.
